Pine Meadow Golf Club and the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago are pleased to announce the renewal of their relationship. This allows Pine Meadow Golf Club to continue to operate as one of the outstanding public golf facilities in America for
years to come.

Located on the University of St. Mary of the Lake Seminary property in Mundelein, Illinois, Pine Meadow has become one of the premier public golf courses in the United States. The club opened in August of 1985, and in 1986 was voted the best new public golf course in America by Golf Digest. Currently the facility is rated the 51st best public access course in America by Golf Digest, the 6th best public golf course in Illinois by Golfweek Magazine, the 15th best golf course in Illinois, public or private, by Golfweek Magazine, a 41/2 star rating from Golf Digest (Places to Play) and a 5 star rating from Chicagoland Golf Magazine.

The practice facility has also been rated the best public facility in Northern Illinois. The facility features grass tees, pitching, chipping and putting greens, target greens, LPGA and PGA teaching professionals as well as an assortment of programs for all types of players.

Pine Meadow Golf Club has been the venue for numerous championships ranging from professional to 3 hole junior, which demonstrates the variety of players that can enjoy this remarkable facility. Included in these championships are the Illinois PGA Senior, Senior Tour Qualifiers, Illinois PGA Stroke Play, CDGA individual and team championships as well as those of the Illinois Jr. Golf Association.

The Club was founded by Joe Jemsek, considered the patriarch of public golf, owner of Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Lemont, Illinois and St. Andrews Golf Club in West Chicago, Illinois. The facility is and will continue to be operated by Frank Jemsek.
